Hi there!
I'm Sharlyn but you can call me Shar. I am a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University based in Vancouver. I love combining strategy, marketing, organization, and social media with my passion for connecting with people. Therefore, I hope to pursue a career in digital marketing or events as I am drawn to opportunities that enable me to create digital content, connect with others and provide experiences for special moments to be made.
While I prefer orderliness and planning ahead, I never turn down the opportunity for spontaneity. I am constantly curious and always strive to seek knowledge about the world around me. I am a huge extrovert as I thrive from interacting and talking with people. Human connection and community is vital for our growth. And through the world of events & digital marketing, I seek to provide that connection from platform to spaces to humans through effective strategies and methods.
Life outside the screens
Other than my career plans, I also have a huge passion for music, travel, and Jesus. When I'm not writing papers or applying for jobs, I am either at church volunteering in the next gen ministry and worship team or with my friends and loved ones seeking out new restaurant hot spots. My favourite activity is eating and my dream destination is New Zealand (only so that I can geek out and visit all the places LOTR was filmed).
